The Elder will also drop a trophy, and once you hang that on the sacrifical stones in the center of the map (the place you first spawn), you’ll be able to active The Elder’s power, which gives you a buff to your woodcutting ability.2 This is particularly felt when your skills have reached higher levels.0 From what we’ve noticed, dying involves a loss of 5-10% XP across the board.

The lack of manual save points makes properly testing the amounts of XP lost tricky at the moment. They’re all fairly passable characters, but most free-to-play gamers will have already acquired them through other events already.0 This also applies to the four-star characters offered by the Banner. Hu Tao is a decent character who will bring your team up to snuff if you lack any high-tiered characters to use. Sightseeing Log, introduced in Patch 2.28, allows the player to solve various riddles in turn to experience the spectacular sceneries in Eorzea. In certain bodies of water in older areas and any prominent body of water in the new areas, all you need to do is simply walk into the water, and once you reach an area with enough depth, you’ll start swimming and floating in ways you weren’t previously able to do.1 You can swim right away upon beginning Stormblood. However, if you need to retrieve items from deep under the water’s surface, you’ll probably want to use console commands.1 While you can’t technically dive underwater in Valheim, you can at least jump in to reach a few feet below the surface. You need to make sure you’re directly over the glimmer and not to the side of it, otherwise Stella won’t dive.2 To dive underwater, swim over to a gold, glowing spot in the water and press A on Xbox One, X on PS4, or B on Switch, and down on the left analog stick or d-pad. Anyone can tread water, but to go deep you’ve got to talk to some turtles.2 One of the coolest new features introduced in Final Fantasy XIV’s Stormblood expansion is the ability to swim and dive, exploring exotic underwater locales. If you happen to be flying, you can even dive straight into the water if you hit it at a certain angle.2 Now you can explore under the sea by either walking out of one of the portals in the underwater towns or by using the Flying/Diving – Descend key (Default: Ctrl + Spacebar). Now you can dive and swim underwater in Final Fantasy XIV.1 If you are playing on PC, just press the default combination CTRL and Space. If you are playing FFXIV on a Playstation or an Xbox One, go to one of the water areas, swim for a while, and dive deep underwater by pressing B on the Xbox and O on the PS4.
